Quirindi Public School had a highly productive garden that is used in conjunction with the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen program. There are a number of garden beds where fresh herbs and seasonal produce are grown; a variety of fruiting trees and laying chooks and ducks. A tank has been provided to try and begin a yabby farm.
Students are eager to help develop the garden. It is open during second break so students are able to help care for our garden and animals.
Volunteers are always welcomed and appreciated. If you would like to help in any way please feel free to contact the school and let us know.
